Shamrock Ranch Stables offers stalls, paddocks or pasture. We have two large arenas, a round pen, wash racks, and trail access on and off the property. Below is a description of each aspect.

  • Stalls: The stalls are approximately 12' X 12'. During the day your horse has the option of being turned out with other compatible horses in a large pasture. They are fed two generous feedings of either grass or alfalfa hay, and their stalls are cleaned daily.
  • Paddocks: We also have mud free paddocks that are approximately  8' X 12' inside and 12' X 12' outside. The horses are fed two generous feedings of grass or alfalfa hay, and their paddocks are cleaned daily. We offer the option of turnout with other horses into large grassy fields during the day.
  • Pasture: We offer the choice of three different pastures.
    • Twin Barn Pasture: This pasture is a large seven acre pasture.
    • Hill Pasture: This is an approximately 24 acre pasture with steeper hills and larger areas to roam.
    • Old Folks Pasture: This is a five acre relatively flat pasture for horses approximately 20 years and older. We feed alfalfa twice a day and aim to keep the heard dynamics calm.

  • Arenas: We have two arenas for the enjoyment of our boarders. One is a fully enclosed 100' X 200' arena and the other is a 75' X 150' dressage style arena.
  • Round Pen: We offer a fully shielded round pen to help keep the focus on you during your training sessions.
  • Wash Racks: We have an enclosed warm water wash rack with rubber mats and cross ties, and a cold water outside wash rack for the sunny days.
  • Trails: We have access to many long beautiful trails for relaxing weekend day getaways. The Montara Mountains surround the ranch and offer stunning views all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge in the north and to Half Moon Bay in the south.
